Spring Trends

By Amy Guzzi

I fell in love with fashion during the twelve years I lived in New York City. I decided to start a fashion blog and was featured in the New York Times fashion section and Anthropologie. When a lot of my friends started asking for styling advice, I decided to start AG Styling. I love mixing patterns and pairing everyday accessories with staple pieces from my closet. On any budget, I help people enhance their style and help them shop intellectually.

One of my favorite spring trends which was big all over the runway are polka dots. I think they easily transform from day to night. You can wear them with jeans and flats or with a heel and some fun earrings.
Another big trend this spring are retro cat eye sunglasses. On any given day you will see Gigi Hadid or one of the Kardashian’s wearing them. I love the Le Spec ones.
Pastels are very in this spring, which is usually a given, but they were very prominent on every big designer’s runway for this upcoming season. Pink is everywhere and I’m loving the light pink jeans along with these other pastel pieces.
Asymmetrical tops and dresses are also a big trend this season. Always a fun way to dress up any outfit.
Lastly I really love statement earrings this spring. As a busy mom, they are the easiest thing to take your day outfit (jeans in a T-shirt) to a night outfit. They literally transform any outfit and they are so on trend right now.
